Busy December

December has been such a busy month!

I spent a week in New Orleans at the Words & Music Writers Conference, an annual event from the Pirate’s Alley Faulkner Society.  A gathering of authors, editors, and agents in one of the greatest cities on the planet, what more could a person want?  This was my third year attending and it was AWESOME!  The caliber of the speakers was amazing, along with the topics.  I plan to talk about this conference and New Orleans in upcoming posts, but you could check out the above website for information about it and the Faulkner writing competition.

How is everyone doing on their holiday prep?  All that shopping, cleaning, decorating, gift wrapping, candy making, beat-the-clock-so-you-can-have-time-to-celebrate rush.  I still need to crank out a couple batches of fudge and wrap some presents, but after that I plan to kick back with some non-dairy eggnog, spiked with rum of course, and enjoy the rest of the season.

I want to end this post by thanking everyone for making the launch of Secrets, Snapdragons, and a Spirit (Book 2 in the Petal Pushers Mystery Series) a big success.   🙂   Big Hugs to all my readers!!
